Eat Dine Play Climb

The O2 approached me to explore how they could bring a static piece of artwork to life in the form of a 10 second loop. The artwork represents the core advertising for the O2 brand across multiple large screens in this iconic venue.

I explored a few ideas and stuck closely to the brand guidelines to come up with the concept and animation above - keeping the circular motif and the segment style of the artwork at the core of the animation whilst adding playful kinetic text to bring the copy to life. The first edit went down so well that we ended up working on several other alternative versions which could also be played in rotation around the venue.
